I’m incredibly honored to share that my Evoke earrings have been selected as the winning design in the Jewellery & Gemstone Association of Africa’s (JGAA) “It’s All in Our Hands” competition.
This piece marks a turning point in my journey ,my very first time working with brass, guided purely by instinct and intuition. No sketches, no plans , just hands, heart, and a deep belief in what could emerge from remnants.
To now see this piece being recognized and exhibited at GemGenève in Switzerland from May 8 to May 11, 2025, feels both surreal and deeply affirming.
This award isn’t just about the final product, but about the process, about learning by doing, experimenting, and trusting that something meaningful can come from what others might discard.
